This is the procedure I use. Its long, boring and tiresome. 1- Disconnect from the Internet. 2- Instal the CS6 package the usual way. I often use the Keygen method included with the package. 3- Once installed, run to make sure its working. 4- Update your package. Back in the day, that was done by: * opening any Adobe progrm * going to Help > Check for Updates * then closing the software (while keeping the updater on) * reconnecting to the Internet * running the updater * and when its done plugging off the Internet again. Last time I tried, this didnt quite work, and Adobe took down the offline update packages. I still havent pulled them from Archive.org to add to this collection. 5- Modify your hosts file, at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and add the following lines.-- you will need to meddle with permissions for it to be editable. 127.0.0.1 3dns.adobe.com 3dns-1.adobe.com 3dns-2.adobe.com 3dns-3.adobe.com 3dns-4.adobe.com activate.adobe.com activate-sea.adobe.com activate-sjc0.adobe.com activate.wip.adobe.com ::1 3dns.adobe.com 3dns-1.adobe.com 3dns-2.adobe.com 3dns-3.adobe.com 3dns-4.adobe.com activate.adobe.com activate-sea.adobe.com activate-sjc0.adobe.com activate.wip.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 activate.wip1.adobe.com activate.wip2.adobe.com activate.wip3.adobe.com activate.wip4.adobe.com adobe-dns.adobe.com adobe-dns-1.adobe.com adobe-dns-2.adobe.com adobe-dns-3.adobe.com adobe-dns-4.adobe.com ::1 activate.wip1.adobe.com activate.wip2.adobe.com activate.wip3.adobe.com activate.wip4.adobe.com adobe-dns.adobe.com adobe-dns-1.adobe.com adobe-dns-2.adobe.com adobe-dns-3.adobe.com adobe-dns-4.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 adobeereg.com practivate.adobe practivate.adobe.com practivate.adobe.newoa practivate.adobe.ntp practivate.adobe.ipp ereg.adobe.com ereg.wip.adobe.com ereg.wip1.adobe.com ::1 adobeereg.com practivate.adobe practivate.adobe.com practivate.adobe.newoa practivate.adobe.ntp practivate.adobe.ipp ereg.adobe.com ereg.wip.adobe.com ereg.wip1.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 ereg.wip2.adobe.com ereg.wip3.adobe.com ereg.wip4.adobe.com hl2rcv.adobe.com wip.adobe.com wip1.adobe.com wip2.adobe.com wip3.adobe.com wip4.adobe.com ::1 ereg.wip2.adobe.com ereg.wip3.adobe.com ereg.wip4.adobe.com hl2rcv.adobe.com wip.adobe.com wip1.adobe.com wip2.adobe.com wip3.adobe.com wip4.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 www.adobeereg.com wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com www.wip.adobe.com www.wip1.adobe.com ::1 www.adobeereg.com wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com www.wip.adobe.com www.wip1.adobe.com 127.0.0.1 www.wip2.adobe.com www.wip3.adobe.com www.wip4.adobe.com wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com crl.verisign.net CRL.VERISIGN.NET ood.opsource.net ::1 www.wip2.adobe.com www.wip3.adobe.com www.wip4.adobe.com wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com crl.verisign.net CRL.VERISIGN.NET ood.opsource.net # # Any other entries you had go here (new line no # no space); # ----- CS6 expected IPv4/IPv6 Block 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com practivate.adobe.com lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com lm.licenses.adobe.com ::1 activate.adobe.com practivate.adobe.com lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com lm.licenses.adobe.com 6- You gonna have to manually replace the amtlib.dll of every software you installed. * The CS5 versions of AMTlib.dll in the Clean Install Toolkit folder probably will work. I say probably, because thats what I found on my disk. If it does not, I apologize. The files provided have alternate bypasses you might want to try. 7- Use AdobeBlock.bat to add the Adobe software to the Windows Firewall. 8- Turn off the few extras that will pester you forever if you dont. * If you are on Windows 10+, open the Task manager, Startup tab, and turn off anything related to Adobe. * On services.msc, shut off the Adobe Genuine Software Itegrity Service if more pestering happens. 9- Run things to make sure they are working A- Connect to the Internet. Remember, if something goes wrong, you gonna have to nuke the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache and C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore folders after you unistall to try again.
