1: Open each Adobe app you intend to uninstall and go to HELP then 
   DEACTIVATE once deactivated close the apps and restart. 

   ^^^^-------- THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP.

2: Use the add/remove programe feature in control pannel to uninstall the apps.

3: Restart after the uninstall.

3: Install the windows clean up tool (restart if it asks you to).

4: Run the windows clean up tool (youll find it in the start menu).

5: Select the Adobe apps and uninstall them (they may well be gone).

6: Restart.

7: For CS3/4/5 apps & non CS apps go to the CSX apps folder and follow the read me.

ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU ARE HAVING PERMISSION ERRORS OR FAILURE TO
INSTALL ERRORS.

8: Go to the access control list repair folder and follow the read me (Vista & 7 only)

9: Go to the registry reset folder and  do steps 1 & 2.
