FOR CS4/5 AND ACROBAT 9/X(10); THIS IS A TOOL TO RESET THE LICENCING SERVICE SHOULD YOU GET LICENCE ERRORS DURING THE USE OF THE ADOBE APPS. CHECK YOUR HOSTS FILE MATCHES THE ONE IN THE HOSTS SET-UP FOLDER. IF YOU HAD TO CORRECT YOUR HOSTS THEN RESTART AND CHECK IT HAS SAVED PROPERLY. WHEN YOU ARE SURE YOURE HOSTS FILE IS SET AND SAVED DO THE FOLLOWING; 1 Turn of internet and close all Adobe apps. 2 Run the LicenseRecover.exe (as admin vista, 7, server 08). 3 Follow the prompts to repair licence service (reset). 4 Once repaired copy the dll file from the DLL FOLDER (use the correct one, CS4/5/Acrobat9,X(10) and replace your existing ones. 5 Restart, turn internet back on and start the app . IF THE LICENCE ISSUES PERSIST THEN GO TO THE CLEAN INSTALL FOLDER AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THERE TO REMOVE YOUR ADOBE APP/S AND THEN REINSTALL TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
